    wsalam
Congrats on ur pmdc exam success and good luck for your career

For documents requirements please see this thread (category 4) http://forum.pfmsg.com/threads/documents-requirement-for-pres-exam.2163/

Regarding English language requirements for PRES:

    1. You have a current Academic IELTS Certificate (dated within the last two years) with an overall band score of 7.0 and a minimum score of 6.5 in each module; or
    2. You have passed another equivalent English language test*; or
    3. Satisfactory proof that you have been awarded a Higher Qualification listed in Appendix A of the Registration Rules which was obtained through English; or
    4. Satisfactory proof that your basic medical degree and internship training were completed through English in a country where English is the language spoken by the vast majority of the population, e.g. in Australia or New Zealand over 97% of the population speak English; and in the USA over 95% of the population speak English. This is comparable to Ireland, where over 98% of the population speak English.
    5. Cambridge ESOL Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - CEFR Level C1or C2
    6. USMLE if all three components passed since 2004.

I do not think that u ll get exemption fron IELTS....even if u want to try,u ll first have to get an english proficiency certificate from ur medical university n send it to ireland as is in case of PLAB.....so u should first ask them that do they give exemption from PLAB,if yes u can also ask them the procedure

@shumaila86 I told you about IELTS, please read again. You need IELTS 7.0 with 6.5 atleast in each module OR you need english proficiency certificate from the university you studied.
For PRES exam and exemption, the documents are same, the difference is that you wont take exam and get exemption.

HOUSE JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR PRES EXEMPTION:
For exemption you must have completed house job in a minimum of a total of twelve months, which should normally be
consecutive, of which at least three months must be spent in Medicine in general and at least three months in Surgery in general. As part of this twelve-month period, an intern may also be employed for not less than two months and not more than four months in the following specialties:

    • Emergency Medicine
    • General Practice
    • Obstetrics and Gynaecology
    • Paediatrics
    • Psychiatry
    • Anaesthesia (to include perioperative medicine)
    • Radiology

Applicants for registration who completed their internship in Pakistan are required to provide the Certificate of Experience issued by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.
