Do we need to get the experience certificate and send it to Irish medical council by ourselves? or PMDC should send the experience certificate to Irish medical council directly?

You do neither of that. you upload the required documents like degree and certificate of experience on your account on EPIC. Then EPIC verifies the documents from the issuing institution. The catch here is this that when your CoE reaches PMDC you have to submit Rs 6500 to PMDC in order for them to verify their issued document ( ironical) which has been sent to them by EPIC.

    Thank you very much :)

What about the Certificate of good standing? Should i get it from PMDC and upload on EPIC then EPIC sends it to PMDC and then pmdc verifies it?
Or i just write Irish medical council when submitting an application to PM&DC and they send it to Irish meidcal council directly?

    2. Secondly , Can i send an application for Good standing BEFORE applying for experience certificate? So, that while getting experience certificate they already send my good standing cert to medical council of Ireland?

Brothere , On EPIC website there is NO option to upload experience certificate or certificate of good standing. List of credentials which we can upload on EPIC does not include experience certificate or Certificate of good standing. Website says that :

Currently, you can add the following types of credentials to your EPIC Portfolio. Unless otherwise indicated, you can add multiple documents for each type of credential.

    • Final Medical Diploma – the diploma issued by your medical school or university after you have completed all requirements for and been awarded your medical degree. You may upload only one final medical diploma to EPIC.
    • Alternate Graduation Documents – a document, other than a final medical diploma, issued by your medical school or university confirming that you graduated from medical school and are eligible to receive your medical degree.
    • Final Medical School Transcripts – the transcript issued by your medical school or university after you have completed all requirements for and been awarded your medical degree.
    • Student Medical School Transcripts – a transcript issued by a medical school or university prior to completion of all requirements for the medical degree. A student transcript may be issued by a school or university in which you are currently enrolled or by a school or university from which you did not graduate but in which you are no longer enrolled, for example a school from which you transferred credits to the school that awarded or will award your medical degree.
    • Postgraduate Medical Education Credentials – a credential issued by a medical school, university, or other institution confirming your participation in any clinical medical training program completed after you have been awarded your medical degree. This includes such credentials as certificates or transcripts confirming the completion of residency/postgraduate training; specialty board certifications; and graduate degrees in clinical specialties.
    • Medical Registration Certificates – a certificate issued by a medical regulatory authority confirming you are or were registered with that authority.
    • Licenses to Practice Medicine – a license issued by a medical regulatory authority confirming you are or were licensed to practice medicine by that authority.

Now there two things here. You DO NOT apply for Good Standing before CoE coz its valid for 6 months only. First get your CoE as it takes time, it took 3 months in my case. When your documents gets verified on EPIC then apply for IMC and Good Standing simultaneously. Coz without EPIC verification your IMC application wont get processed as they will ask for the EPIC report and if its not done at that time yet so it will create a backlog. This is purely my subjective opinion there will be others who may have a different approach which might have worked for them so you can keep your self open to others opinion on this too. Jazak Allah

You Do Not have to upload Good Standing on EPIC, it is send directly by PMDC to IMC. And CoE has to uploaded on EPIC in PG Medical Education Credentials section.
