The doctors who have done PG from abroad without having RMP will have to sit in NEB Exam to get registration of there MBBS/BDS only after that they can apply for there PG Registration. They can apply for exemption of house job based on their PG experience.

The ones who already have RMP and have done PG from abroad should follow the steps :
    1. write an application to the PG Section of PMDC to get equivalence of PG Degree.
    2. A committee will look into case and can give 3 decisions :
    • Accept PG and give Registration
    • Reject application
    • Ask to appear in any level of the PG NEB Exam Part I , Part II or Part III
(Remember that this exam differs from the basic NEB Exam)

    4. Schedule of PG NEB Exam will be announced after the Executive Committee decides.

This is the latest and most authentic news given today by the PMDC (NEB & PG Section)
    Via PFDA

The doctors who have passed PMDC and then went for PG (masters/phd) without doing house job, can apply for exemption of the house job and get full RMP without doing house job due to inclusion of their first year PG experience.

:p I am not great guru bro, I am like you but with passion of helping others.
Well scenario for you is written above if you read it carefully. Plab won't make difference because it doesn't give you exemption from pmdc exam.
You will have to pass pmdc exam to get rmp and you can get exemption of housejob based on your 1st year PG experience.

    u r welcome
1 - 4 years PG is considered as equal to MCPS and 4 years or more PG is considered as equal to FCPS.
PHD is equal to FCPS + PHD in Pakistan

Yes it will be equal to Mcps as per pmdc law.
Future of Mcps internal medicine is not so bright in big cities but you can do good practice in periphery.
You reputation and practice depends on your knowledge and not on the status of degree.

With Mcps you can't be considered a specialist in teaching hospitals but u can be considered specialist in periphery hospitals.

    U welcome
I couldn't find any form on pmdc website for pg noc. I think there might be noc for pg too but You must inquire about this by going to pmdc office. It would be best if you update us too.

I think i've read it in rules. Those who are going abroad for PG studies must obtain NOC from pmdc.

If you're going abroad for PG studies then you've to obtain NOC for PG studies from PMDC. I don't know whether you've to clear NEB exam first to get admission into PG studies abroad. Its not stated in rules for PG studies. Consult PMDC on this matter.

    Thanks for pointing out bro.
No need to clear pmdc exam for noc. But you will have to pass pmdc exam to recognize your degree of mbbs and then apply for recognition of your pg degree.
Consultation from pmdc is a delayed process that's why I am here
