documents confusion in China, help needed

Postby smokey155193 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 12:24 pm

Salam to all. I am nearly to get my degree and in doing so I searched for the documents to be notarize and attested from foreign office and embassy.I get different answers from different persons. According to my information from university we get
1. Diploma Chinese
2. Degree Chinese
3. Detailed mark sheet
4. Police certificate or character certificate
5. NOC
6. English language proficiency certificate
7. Migration certificate
8. Internship certificate

***Please tell me which of them will be in Chinese and which of them will be in English and will there be any other document.
***Please tell me which of them will have to be notarize and what they cost for each document.(I heard it will be 150 yuan / document).
***Then which documents are to be attested from foreign office and at what cost. (I heard it will be 98 yuan / document).
***At last comes Pakistan Embassy. Which documents should I attest from Embassy and at which cost they attest them. (I heard it will be 48 yuan / document).

Waiting for detailed and authenticated answers. Thanks.
Mudassar.

wsalam,
Well it depends on ur uni what documents they wud give in english n which in chinese, i think they should give u both versions, if however u dont get english version, get that translated and notarized by notary public. You also have to attest all documents either in english or chinese, coz u wud need them in future at any time and place.
I am not sure about the cost of documents, other members would tell you the costs for attestation.
Have a look at this topic viewtopic.php?f=5&t=671 , its related to your questions too.

I have naturized all the documents (except internship and english certificate) because when i asked from my seniors then everyone has its own answer..u hav spent a lot of money for ur convocation trip to china,so i recommond u to get naturized all ur documents to avoid any tension in future..bcoz its difficult for u to send documents back to china when u will come back pak..
One more thing, foreign affair will only attest those documents which are naturised..and embassy will attest only those documents which attest by foreign affairs..u have to attest ur original documents also from embassy...

For natury each document cost 150
For foreign affairs normal fees cost 48 and urgent fee 98
For embassy it will 48

Thanks a lot Dr. Watson and Dr. Farooq. Just now I was checking pmdc forms and it also require syllabus and credit hours of 5 year study. well I can get syllabus easily but my university doesn't seems to have credit hours things. What should I do.and do I need to notarize and attest these docs also (syllabus etc.). One more thing, may be a stupid question but I want to make it clear, when we notarize documents do they give us more documents i.e, translated ones (what about documents already in English and I want to notarize them). Then foreign office attest those notarized documents or original ones or both. And what about embassy, does embassy attest all documents or we only need to have original ones attested or notaries. Please tell me whether foreign office and embassy attestation is only carried out by stamping the already present documents and they don't add more documents. If they do what kind of documents are they. Please answer all of the questions separately, i really appreciate if you take out some time to help. Thanks.

You r welcome..we r always here to help eachother..

No need of syllabus and credit hours...(when i submit my documents in pmdc, they didnt demand for these documents..)

Natury wil attest all ur documents whether in eng or chinese..they will not attest the original but they will give u 2 set of naturized copies of each original document..

Then from foreign affairs,u will attest only naturised documents..they will not attest the original one...they will not give u any extra document...

Pak embassy wil attest ur original as well as naturised documents..they will not give any extra document..

If u hav money then i advise u to attest all ur documents from forign affair and embassy...it will relieve ur tension in future...

I hope i hav cover all ur questions..but if any ques left,u can ask freely
